History: 105 Issues
             April 1964 - Dec 1972

Background:

In April 1964, the long running magazine "Model Maker" became "Model Cars".

Seemingly the most popular of the British magazines, "Model Cars" dominated the
boom years of Slot Racing. Noted for the 3 view plans in the "Prototype Parade"
series of articles, these issues are still sought after today.

As of 1969, the rival magazine Miniature Auto was incorporated into Model Cars.

In 1973, Model Cars was renamed Scale Modeler, but only lasted 11 issues.
